There are no burial plots remaining in this Cemetery and interments are now only permitted in pre-purchased plots. This cemetery is of a traditional type with a variety of sizes of memorials.
The cemetery is no longer cordoned off; following a Health and Safety check, a number of the memorials were found to be in an unsafe condition and these have now been dealt with.
Ramsey Road Cemetery
The entrance to this Cemetery is on the Old Ramsey Road. The first burials took place 1984 and details of the burials are held at the Town Council's offices.
The Cemetery is a 'lawn' cemetery and a copy of the Regulations and current charges are available on enquiry to the Town Council's offices.
An extension to the Cemetery has now been completed, providing burial space for approximately 40/50 years. |
