 | A Twinning Charter with the town of Stadtallendorf in Germany, was signed in 1988.
Since that time, many exchange visits have been undertaken with a visit by the Bürgermeister and Members of the Stadtallendorf Council to St Ives being held in 2004, coinciding with the opening of the Michaelmas Fair. A Civic Reception was held to commemorate 15 years of twinning.
