Issue: St Ives lock is open
Impact on navigation area: Not applicable.
Report: St Ives Lock is now open. We have completed work to address some of the identified issues, but the remaining work will take time to implement fully, as we must ensure all necessary steps are carefully carried out. In the meantime, temporary measures have been put in place to allow the lock to reopen.
We will be monitoring the lock’s operation closely to ensure it remains within the defined parameters. We are planning further work to address the remaining issues and will need to close the lock for approximately one week to dewater and complete repairs. This closure is likely to take place in June/July. Additional details will be provided as we prepare for this work.
