Responsibility for local services is split across the Town, District and County Councils.
The Town Council is responsible for the following services:
- Hill Rise Allotments
- Warner’s Park and Slepe Hall Field
- The Waits
- Provision of children’s play areas at Beech Drive, Burleigh Hill, The Crescent, Russet Close, Slepe Hall Field, Thorndown, Warner’s Park and Wheatfields.
- Cemeteries at Ramsey Road and Hill Rise
- Closed cemeteries at Broadleas, All Saints Parish Churchyard and Westwood Road cemetery
- The Norris Museum
- Burleigh Hill Centre, Corn Exchange, Town Hall
- Public toilets at the bus station and Globe Place
- A number of hanging and barrier baskets, noticeboards and benches
