Hill Rise Cemetery
Hill Rise Cemetery

St Ives Town Council is a burial authority with Hill Rise Cemetery located off Ramsey Road.  It is primarily a lawn cemetery with burial plots as well as an area for interment of ashes and a Mausoleum.  We also have an area dedicated for children and a remembrance wall.  The cemetery itself is a tranquil area surrounded by established hedgerow and open fields.

Access to the cemetery is via the Old Ramsey Road through the original Ramsey Road Cemetery.  ‘Hill Rise Cemetery’ extension opened in 2012.

Burial records are maintained by council officers and if you are looking for information on a relative or friend’s grave, please contact our Cemeteries Officer on 01480 388929 or by email [email protected].  Our Cemeteries Officer is available on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays between 10am and 4pm.

Help for the Newly Bereaved

We understand that there is a lot to take in when having to deal with the practicalities of the passing of a loved one.  If you need help understanding the process, please use advice produced by the Government: What to do when someone dies: step by step, which will support you through aspects you may be unsure of.
