Parks
St Ives Town Council is responsible for two parks in the town, both of which have QEII Field Status through Fields in Trust.
Warners Park

Warner’s Park is a well-loved 3 acre oasis of green space, tucked between residential streets. It is principally grass but with mature trees, historic ridge and furrow to one end and seating, pavilions and play area. It is easily accessible with adjacent on-street parking and tarmac paths.
Its position means the Park has regular footfall throughout the day and is used by all ages – for play, dog walking, relaxing or just passing through. The play area is hugely popular as is the marked football pitch. Older children meet with friends and you can often see impromptu games and sport going on. The park, during the summer is often the location for music and social events that attract several hundred people at times.
Slepe Hall Field

Similar in many aspects to Warner’s Park in that it is also a 3-acre green space principally grass with mature trees. However this park has a very open aspect sitting as it does along one of the main roads in St Ives. It is easily accessible to all as it is unfenced and reaches the pavement on two sides. There is space for disabled parking adjacent to the site and footpaths are tarmac.
Its position means the field has regular footfall throughout the day with the space and seating used by all ages. Junior football teams regularly use the field for training sessions and ‘boot camps’ for adults also regularly meet there. Many children make use of the play area on their way to and from school.
