St Ives Farmers Market takes place on the first and third Saturday of each month, on Sheepmarket, from 8.30am to 2.00pm. This prime town centre position makes it easily accessible to shoppers and an integral part of town centre Saturday trading.
The Market started in 2003, so 2013 was a year for celebration as the Market hit 10 and entered its second decade. A change of layout was trialled at the Birthday Celebrations and following feedback from traders and shoppers alike, it was decided to retain the 'horseshoe' shape. This gives the Market a fantastic community atmosphere and seems to be enjoyed by all.
The Market is proud to have been a FARMA Farmers' Market of the Year Finalist for three consecutive years and credits that success to all involved - shoppers, traders and organisers.
The Market has something to offer all kinds of shopper - from early birds to late morning browsing and those stopping in on the way to and from other activities. The Market has a core of regular shoppers and it's a pleasure to see so many familiar faces at each Market.
On the other hand, there is always a very warm welcome for visitors and new faces. If you haven't been to see us - why not? Drop in and say hello!
